I havent been out much with the camera, but I tagged along with hubby to a steam rally this past weekend and saw lots of these beasts

I know of 2 shay locomotives in Ohio. They an only be seen once the leaves are down. They are down in SE Ohio along SR 800.

Makinsphoto did mention where the trains were, so I did a search on abandoned trains in the woods. Search brought up Maine and Ohio. That's all I know.

Hope you don't mind me posting these. New Centerville Farmers and Thrashers Jubilee in southwest Pennsylvania in Sept 2018. (Held every year)

I don't know much about the specific models and makes, but I am interested in machinery. Great place to visit and see (and HEAR and SMELL!) these old machines at work.
















I have some B/W photos that I will try to post here in a few minutes.
