That's funny. I took the shot with the 300mm and it was still very small and had to be cropped quite a bit. It was just plain until PP where I added the vignette, etc.

I learned something while trying to shoot the "Convergence of the planets"
First rule: prepare in advance.
Second: have a tripod sturdier than what I own. Ha!
While trying to manually focus, I saw how much the tripod let the camera move. :shame:
My wife saw this cart going down the street and said, "That's cute. You have to get a picture."
I whipped the truck around and got to a spot where I could pull over, grab the camera and take a shot.
I had the wrong lens to get a good side view.

This year is done... I made it! A couple of days I thought were going to be next to impossible to get a shot with the Nikon, but I managed.
