Mixer to microphone input?

I just ordered a Z30 to record live music performances. I’d like to feed a small mixer into the microphone input. My mixer has l & r XLR outputs, as well as a USB DI output that can be used to feed into DAW apps. Is this possible, and if so, what sort of adapter(s) do I need. Stereo in would be ideal, but mono would also work for me.

Hello, maybe not exactly what you asked for but this is a very nice solution.
What you need is a Röde Wireless Go II (or other wireless mic), where you connect the Tx to the line (tape) output from the mixer. You must have an attenuator cable between so you don't overload the TX input. The Röde Rx is connected to the camera as usual.
With this solution you can walk around within the range of the Röde Wireless with your camera and always have the sound from the mixer board.
Everything what you need is described in this video.

regards,
